Everything but the Kitchen Sink

BUSY BUSY BUSY.

The past Easter Weekend left me feeling like I had lots of catch-up to do.  Unfortunately the blog comes last. 

This was our first Easter with Brody.  It was so much fun! Here are some pictures from our fun weekend!

It just came to me that I have never introduced my husband and son to you.  My husband, Lucas is 23 years old and Farmer.  He works full-time for my parents on their farm as well.  Brody D Jones is 10 months old! I get the the pleasure of being a stay at home mommy to this little turd.

Ok carrying on...

Monday was April 1. That can only mean on thing.  A new memory verse.  I have taken up the challenge of memorizing scripture this year with some of my bible study ladies.  We are following along with Beth Moore's 2013 Siesta Scripture Memory Team. My scripture for this turn is probably one of my favorites right now. 

1 Peter 4:11

If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides,so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Lastly, on Monday I also decided to take a challenge along with one of the blogs I follow. Mama Laughlin challenged us to "Be Present". Starting on Monday, I have been off anything social media, at 6 pm.  Be Present means that I'm spending time with my family not with facebook, twitter or you all.  So far it's been a breath of fresh air.  Last night the hubby and I cuddled and watched the voice. (I know TMI) But being able to just spend time with my boys has been so nice.  I can see this challenge carrying on past April 30th.

Well its been nice to catch up all...
