Wow... It's been quite a long time since I posted. Life has been nothing short of crazy.

We are in the busiest time of the year with our farming business. The men are working long hours shelling corn, bringing in 16,000 baby hogs, hauling manure, the list goes on and on.

To top it off I am in the last trimester carrying our son and my health has been on the decline. Multiple issues are preventing me from being on my feet at all. Which means someone at all times is with me helping me take care of Brody. It has been a trying time.

Rather than allow all the negative to continue to pull me down I decided to take a different route with it. As it's November 1st I thought how fitting it would be to just cover my life in thanks. I have so much to be thankful for! Gods blessing are new every day! I don't want my focus to be on negative, but the positive of every aspect and every situation.  For example, yes the men are working long hours but our harvest has been plentiful. Yes, I feel like absolute crud but Tucker is growing right on track and is active as can be. Everything is about the view in which you see your life. God is still in control

Brody's 1 Year Pictures

Brody's 1 year picture really ended up being 13 month pictures.  When he turned one he was sick with thrush and then started getting molars.  We finally had his pictures taken in the middle of June. His fingers were still in his mouth a lot due to the molars but we got some really cute ones!

July 4th Weekend

The fourth fell on a Thursday this year! We spent the weekend with family and friends. Here's a look at all the fun we had!

We started the 4th off eating breakfast with all of my best girl friends from high school!

 

Afterwards we picked Daddy up from church camp. He went as a middle school leader and was gone for 5 days! Brody was so excited to see him!

On July the 5th we went to the Salamonie Summer Festival Parade.  Brody loved seeing all the trucks, tractors and people go by!

On Sunday, we ended the weekend with another round of Fireworks. This time we went to Warren with my family.

We had such a great weekend with our friends and family. Brody loved the fireworks. He would say whoa and ohhh at them! He is so active and fun! Feeling extremely blessed to live in the country we do!

Summer is off to a FUN start! Brody is so active and loves to go "out" or outside. So blessed to be able to spend so much time with family and friends!

Brody's 1st Birthday

Brody turned 1 on May 12, 2013. This year his birthday landed on a Sunday. It was also Mother's Day, what a sweet way for this mommy to celebrate!

We decided to have Brody's big party on his actually birthday!
